Product Description

Touch springs (also called sensing springs or touch control springs) are specialized hardware components for capacitive touch buttons. They utilize the spring's metal coil as a sensing electrode to achieve a "touch-triggered" function, and are widely used in touch control solutions for small home appliances and digital devices.

Working Principle: One end of the spring is soldered to the touch pad on the PCB, while the other end is exposed or attached to the inside of the panel. When a person touches the spring, the capacitance value of the spring electrode changes. The main control chip detects this capacitance change and triggers the button function.

Structural Forms: Spiral tower-shaped/cylindrical compression springs: suitable for round and square touch buttons. With bent leads/through-hole leads: convenient for direct soldering or mounting on the PCB. Fine wire diameter and few coils: ensures sufficient sensing area while saving space.

In practical applications, touch springs are commonly used in touch buttons for electronic devices, intelligent control panels, and various precision instruments. Some structures are integrated into the PCB design and used directly as contact components, making the overall structure more compact and reducing the complex parts of traditional mechanical buttons. Touch Spring or Tactile Spring are common expressions for this type of product in different application scenarios.

In terms of materials, metals with good electrical conductivity are generally used, and surface treatments such as nickel plating or gold plating are used to improve oxidation resistance and contact stability. Because touch-based products require a high level of tactile feedback, these springs are typically designed with a focus on smoothness and consistency, ensuring the same feedback with each trigger. Overall, the touch spring series is more like an "invisible tactile system" in electronic devices, making machine interaction more natural and precise.
